Local Farm Partners
I buy almost all my lard and tallow from nearby Vermont and New York farms who raise their cattle on 100% grass-fed/finished diets and raise their pigs out on pasture. The exception is that each fall I also use the tallow from the one or two steers that we process here on the farm.
