Tallow and Lanolin Lip Balm

More scents coming soon! I took our our powerfully moisturizing Tallow & Lanolin Balm and added just enough beeswax that it applies easily from a push up tube. Now it's even simpler to Give Fat a Chance while you're on the go. Though with the power of tallow and lanolin, you can soothe chapped lips without the need to constantly reapply.

Our compostable, plastic-free tubes hold 7g of balm, which doesn't sound like a lot but it's over 50% more than most standard lip balms, which often only hold 4g!

Lanolin is a powerful emollient derived from sheep's wool. It seals in moisture to protect and soften chapped skin. 

Our tallow is rendered from 100% grass-fed beef suet that I buy from local farms. Tallow is another great ingredient that helps lock in moisture, it's full of beneficial fatty acids as well as vitamins A, D and K.

A note on scent: Both lanolin and tallow can sometimes smell a bit "farmy", even when scented with essential oils. If you're sensitive to these kinds of smells, you may want to try our lard lip balm or goose fat lip balm instead, which have a much more neutral scent.
